Baco Mercat is a cute little restaurant in Downtown L.A. that serves "the toron" - a sandwich filled with oxtail hash, cheddar tater and horseradish-yogurt. This is the first thing I ate at Baco and it's still my favorite. It's so good that I won't even bother mentioning any of the other menu items I've tried. The portion size seems to have shrunk a bit since my initial visit, but not enough to keep me away.
P.S. Making reservations here is always a good idea.
