:-: WALKER STALKER CON 2015 :-:

If Hello Kitty Con wasn't your cup of tea and/or you appreciated my posts on
The Walking Dead and Halloween Horror Nights, then brace yourself for this…

General admission tickets start at $45 for one day admission.
Or you can buy a platinum ticket for $1,200.

I bought a platinum ticket!!

Just kidding.  I bought a one day general admission.

The convention isn't being held in L.A., but now you'll have an excuse to visit San Francisco!

I can't wait to dress up as a zombie!  Has anyone been before?  How was it?

:-: HELLO KITTY HUNGRY HUNT IS FULL :-:

The hunt is over.  And I'm beyond full.

Getting all 11 pins felt like a second job, but my Hello Kitty Hungry Hunt was lots of fun!

Hop on board and see what the hunt entailed!  I've rounded the prices for your reference.

Good luck if you're still hunting!

(…and a special thank you to M for standing in line with me for HOURS and getting a couple of pins for me when I couldn't make it in time)

Thanks for reading!

:-: PINK CHEESEBURGERS :-:

Hello Kitty Hungry Hunt status update:  1 pin to go.

I've been posting pictures of the food items as I go along on Instagram, but I'll have a detailed post with all of the food, pins and prices once my hunt is complete.

I just couldn't resist a sneak peek of the pink cheeseburger from Plan Check Kitchen + Bar.

The pink cheese was a cute touch - probably just food coloring - but it made the burger fun to eat.

It reminded me of the burger at Father's Office, but this one was a little bit too salty.  I'll still come back to try some of their other burgers, though.  There's a few more things on their menu that I want to try.

Have you been here before? Any regular menu item recommendations? Please let me know.

Thanks for reading!

:-: HELLO KITTY MADNESS! :-:

Hello Kitty Con is over.

If I had known that Hello Kitty Con would mostly be comprised of standing in line to stand in another line to wade my way through a sea of people just to stand in more lines, I wouldn't have gone.

O.K., that's obviously a lie.
I would have purchased tickets for multiple days. Next time I'll know better.

If you missed out on Hello Kitty Con, or if you simply haven't had enough, the
exhibit at the Japanese American National Museum is open through April 26, 2015.

It was truly a nostalgic experience and I strongly urge you to go.  It really was an excellent exhibit.

Do you have any fun stories to share about Hello Kitty Con or the Exhibit?

Thanks for reading!
